I’m In Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. This is a truly beautiful place to be spending time in. I’m on tour with the Saihou Kotengu group from Nagasaki & Imafuku Yu and his Kagura group from Shimane-ken.
Jumpin’ in on one piece this afternoon with them and almost had it right. Have seen it twice and been given a sheet of notes (last night). Tonight is the big concert here and hopefully I’ll be able to nail it ……………… hattari-de.
It’s a really crazy schedule with mostly school shows all over Vancouver Island and then *Lower Mainland* BC. Killer day today with THREE 40-minute school shows and one 2-hour concert.
Had some great sushi last night at a place called Sushi Mon. Remember…I don’t much like sushi, for the most part. This was really great sushi.
